About (old)

Hi! My name is Sarah. I grew up in Los Angeles, love making pottery, and have completed basic training in the Israeli Army. For almost a decade, I've worked with some of the most globally recognized brands from Facebook to Nissan to UNICEF and helped smaller companies like Postmates and Eventbrite find their voice. My work has been awarded Cannes Lions and hangs (digitally) in the Social Media Hall of Fame, but what I am most proud of are the projects that move people to take action. As a creative problem-solver, I believe it is helpful to understand many roles in order to create successful, thriving brands which is why I have studied marketing, business, entrepreneurship, communications, psychology and fine arts. I am a hybrid-creative and have experience with art direction, creative direction, creative strategy, integrated brand campaigns, social media, experiential marketing, and market research.

I believe creativity can be a powerful tool for change, and I try to use my voice to fight for mental health awareness by breaking the stigmas around mental health treatment and supporting those who are struggling with their challenges. I have become passionate about this cause as a tribute to my mother who devoted her life to supporting mental health treatments before passing away in 2018. Just nine days before my wedding, I led a panel discussion at NYC Creative Week on inclusion and mental health in social media. The panel was a crowd favorite and covered in the Adweek article “Why More Companies Should Offer Mental Health Days, and Why Coworkers Should Respect Them,” which sparked Giant Spoon and other agencies around the country to begin offering Mental Health Days. In addition to this work, I lead by example, champion diverse voices, mentor young female creatives, speak at industry events, and have served as a judge for The One Show.
